DO YOU WANT TO BE IN YEARBOOK?

If you are planning on attending or already attending Richland High School, then you are able to join the Richland High School Yearbook staff, you can contact your school counselor or swing by room 1240 to talk to the Yearbook Advisor, Toree Markussen. You can also contact us through our contact page, by sending us an email. Go Bombers!

Being in Yearbook produced many opportunities for you as a student to grow. Our Junior Editor can attest to that, Noah Pope, a current junior at Richland High School. Yearbook has learned many public speaking skills, interviewing skills, and teamwork abilities. If you join Yearbook, then you will gain all of these valuable skills. Hopefully you will choose to join the Yearbook staff and learn all of these skills to become a great journalist and a hard worker.

Our Yearbook staff for the, 2014-2015, school year was very dedicated and worked many hours in and outside of school. Every staff member wanted to produce the best product they could for their student body to enjoy. Seniors Corinna Peterson and Heather Watkins played a big role in producing the 14-15 Yearbook, and have shaped the way they work with other people throughout the school year and in their future.

Every year the Yearbook staff gets together during the evening to call the senior parents to tell them about Senior Ads (which information can be found in the purchase an ad tab). At the Senior Ad night we also have a little fun with pizza, chips, soda and cookies to bond with the amazing staff. Sophomore, Alex Boecker pours herself some soda while Junior, Haley Shannon grabs a slice of pizza so they can relax before getting down to business.

I'm another title

Through Yearbook, the staff learns valuable lessons on how to handle expensive equipment, time management, and working with others. Junior, Kara Thomason has been with the Richland High School Yearbook since 2013. After learning many skills through Yearbook she is ready to face any job or task that a future employer or teacher hands her. "Yearbook has prepared me for the real world by giving me an opportunity to overcome my shyness so that I can become a better employer and take on any task without giving a second thought to it," says Thomason.
